Mary Cassetta, 85, Former Resident Of Dobbs Ferry

SLOATSBURG, N.Y.  - Mary Cassetta of Sloatsburg, formerly of Dobbs Ferry, died Dec. 11. She was 85.

Cassetta was born Nov. 25, 1929, to Giuseppe Moschella and Giovanna Scarcella, in Blawnox (Pittsburgh), Pa. She attended school there. After her marriage she settled with her husband in Dobbs Ferry, to raise a family and then moved to New Port Richey in 1984. She moved to Sloatsburg to live with her daughter Joanne.

Cassetta is survived by her children, Toni (Charles) Sacco of Port Chester, Joanne (Kenny) Pezzuti of Sloatsburg and Joseph Cassetta of Putnam Valley; brother, Carmello Moschella of Gibsonia, Pa. She was predeceased by her mother, Giovanna; brother, James Moschella; and sister, Rose LaGalia.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19 at St Joan of Arc Church, Sloatsburg.
