DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Carmine Baviello, a longtime resident of Dobbs Ferry, died on Tuesday, April 21. He was 77.
Baviello was born in Italy to Michael and Mariantonia Baviello, emigrating to the United States in 1956 and moving to Dobbs Ferry in 1958.
He was predeceased by his brother Gerard Baviello, and is survived by his wife, Grace, his three children, Michael Baviello and his wife, Frances, Maria Solomon and her husband Neil, Frances Costa and her husband. Anthony, grandchildren Alexa Rose Baviello and Andrew Carmine Solomon, his brother Pasquale "Pat" Baviello and his wife, Lupe, sister Immaculatta Fortuna and her husband. Albino and sister-in-law Lucy Baviello and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be at 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave., in Dobbs Ferry.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Saturday at Our Lady of Pompeii Church. 95 Palisade St., Dobbs Ferry.
