IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Barbara Ann Harasymiw, 80, of Irvington, died on March 17.
Born and raised in Yonkers, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Soloviow.
Harasymiw married Michael Harasymiw, on Oct. 10. 1953, at St. Michael's Church in Yonkers. They moved to Dobbs Ferry in 1953 and started their family.
She worked as a medical secretary for many years and was a parishioner and member of Sacred Heart Church Sodality in Dobbs Ferry.
She is survived by her daughter, Michele; grandsons Matthew and Mark; and great grandchildren, Luke and Lorali.
Her husband died in 1986. Two sons, Mark and David and a sister, Dolores Palombi also predeceased her.
Visiting hours are from Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Dobbs Ferry.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice.
