Take a Look at What's Happening This Weekend

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – With Halloween just a few days away, there are several events in the village to help get you get ready for the holiday.  Before you go out trick or treating take a look below at what’s going on in the villages this weekend.

On Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. the Dobbs Ferry Farmers Market is back on Cedar St. and will have its usual collection of fresh produce, meats, baked goods and wine.

The Ardsley Community Center will be hosting a Halloween festival and parade on Saturday afternoon from 1-3 p.m.  There will be a costume contest, key club activities, music, games, activities and lots of candy.

Saturday from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. the Hastings Farmers Market will be in the Municipal Building parking lot with some of the freshest produce in Westchester.

On Saturday night the Harlem Wizards will be in town to take on the Hastings Hotshots in the Cochran Gym at Hastings High School.  The game is set to start at 7 p.m. and players will be signing autographs after the game.

The Pumpernickel Restaurant in Ardsley will be hosting The Barj Project: Halloween Bash on Saturday night at 9 p.m.

The Giordano Foundation Day of Healing for Women is Sunday at the Dobbs Ferry Women’s Club.  This will be the sixth annual Day of Healing and will run from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

The Hastings Public Library will be screening “Marwencol” on Sunday at 3 p.m., which is a documentary about a man rehabbing after being in a coma.
