HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The Hastings School Board will remain the same for the next term with two incumbents and no challengers up for election when residents vote Tuesday.
Village residents will also vote on the 2013-2014 school budget, which is proposed at $43,895,492 up $1,187,026 from the 2012-2013 budget at an incearse of 3.44 percent.
Residents of the school district may vote on the budget and school board election from 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. in the Cochran Gym at Hastings-on-Hudson High School, corner of School Street and Hillside Avenue.
Board members Caryn Campbell and Wendy Naidich are running for the two seats. Campbell is running for her fourth three-year term and Naidich for her third.
