YONKERS, N.Y. -- U.S. Army Sgt. Michael Velasquez and his family will move next year into “The Pope Francis House,” a Habitat For Humanity project in the works right now and inspired by the pope’s visit to New York, CBS News reports.
Volunteers from Habitat for Humanity of Westchester is refurbishing a formerly foreclosed house in Yonkers, and Velasquez is the recipient when the home is finished in about a year, CBS reported.
