"Our contractor is desperately trying to locate parts for the boiler," said Town Supervisor Paul Feiner. "We are also exploring other temporary action steps we could take to address the problem so pool patrons could swim in comfort." According to the town, if they are not able to come up with a short term action, the town will be forced to replace the aging boiler. The cost is estimated to be over $100,000.
As the town pursues a fix , they ask for patience as representatives reach out to other area indoor pools to ensure swimmers don't miss their daily swims while the problem is resolved.
