Dobbs Ferry May Be Featured In Episode Of Fox TV's 'Sleepy Hollow'

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - The newest trailer for Fox TV's upcoming drama "Sleepy Hollow" mentions an unsolved homicide in Dobbs Ferry, indicating that the town may be featured in the show.

The latest trailer for the upcoming Fox Drama "Sleepy Hollow" makes mention of an unsolved homicide in Dobbs Ferry, indicating the town will be featured in the show.

The storyline of the show has Ichabod Crane as a Revolutionary War captain who travels forward in time to the present. He must solve a police officer's murder when the Headless Horseman returns to haunt the town, and ends up working with the police, who aren't sure whether he's mentally ill or the real Ichabod come back.

The show was not filmed in Sleepy Hollow, although the trailer shows several aerial views of the village including the Philipse Manor Train Station and the Hudson River waterfront. It's not yet known whether any scenes were or will be filmed in Dobbs Ferry.
