HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – More than 800 guests attended Project SHARE’s 25th annual Thanksgiving Dinner for the homeless at Hastings-on-Hudson High School on Tuesday, Nov. 25.
In addition to the numerous guests, hundreds of volunteers from schools and organizations all over Westchester County prepared and served the dinner which included live music in addition to a family-style meal.
The event is believed to be the largest dinner of its kind for the homeless within the area.
Project SHARE is a service club for high school students that engage in social justice activities and charitable projects, like Midnight Run where food is delivered to homeless people.
