Hudson Valley Man Stabs Another With Steak Knife, State Police Say A Hudson Valley man is behind bars after allegedly stabbing another in the face and head with a steak knife. The incident took place in Orange County around 11:45 a.m., on Wednesday, May 10 on High Street in Unionville. According to Trooper Steve Nevel, troopers responded to a residence for a report of an assault with a knife. Man Nabbed Stealing $225K In Goods From Storage Container In Hudson Valley, Police Say An area 71-year-old has been charged with grand larceny after allegedly stealing more than $225,299 in property from a storage container. Ulster County resident Anthony Diguiseppe, of Accord, a hamlet of the town of Rochester, was arrested on Sunday, March 19. On Friday, March 3, State Police began an investigation of stolen property that exceeded $225,229, said Trooper Steve Nevel. The Investigation revealed that Diguiseppe removed items from a storage container that did not belong to him and moved them to another location, Nevel added. Garage Haulers Charged With Littering Hudson Valley Highway, State Police Say State Police are cracking down on commercial garbage haulers who have been responsible for allegedly depositing large amounts of garbage on a Hudson Valley highway. On Monday, March 20, troopers in Orange County conducted a joint detail on Route 17 with enhanced enforcement on garbage truck haulers, said Trooper Steve Nevel.
