Bomb Threat At Suffern Senior High School Causes Evacuation, Police Say A Hudson Valley high school was evacuated after receiving a security threat involving explosives, police said. The incident took place in Rockland County at Suffern Senior High School in Suffern around 7 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 21. According to Capt. The incident took place in Rockland County on Thursday, Dec. 15 at New City Elementary School in New City. According to Det. Potentially Dangerous Leak Causes Closure Of School In Hudson Valley Firefighters took quick action after a malfunctioning boiler caused a carbon monoxide leak at a Hudson Valley elementary school.
