One Killed In Two-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash overnight in Northern Westchester. It happened around 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 on the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway at the Route 117 exit near the Mount Kisco/Bedford Hills border. As a result, northbound traffic was diverted off the parkway at Kisco Avenue while the roadway was closure for several hours during the accident investigation, Westchester County Police said. Westchester County Police officers were on hand to spot a rollover crash on the Saw Mill River Parkway near Marble Avenue near the Pleasantville/Briarcliff Manor border at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16 in the northbound lanes. Fallen Trees Force Major Route 9 Closure In Westchester Wind damaged trees falling across Route 9 has necessitated a major north-south road closing late Monday afternoon, Feb. 25. As of just before 4:30 p.m., Route 9 is closed from the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery’s main entrance to the Phelps Memorial Hospital entrance.
