3 Injured In Crash At Busy Intersection In Hudson Valley A busy intersection in the Hudson Valley was shut down for nearly an hour following a two-car crash that left three people injured.  It happened in Putnam County on Saturday, Dec. 2 around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of West Lovell Street and Union Valley Road in Carmel. The incident took place in Putnam County around 11:45 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 15, when the Mahopac Falls Dive Team was requested to South Lake Boulevard for reports of a vehicle submerged in the lake, the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department said.
