3 Injured In Crash At Busy Intersection In Hudson Valley A busy intersection in the Hudson Valley was shut down for nearly an hour following a two-car crash that left three people injured.  It happened in Putnam County on Saturday, Dec. 2 around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of West Lovell Street and Union Valley Road in Carmel. Police and first responders soon arrived at the scene of the incident and found that three people had been injured. The incident took place in Putnam County around 11:45 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 15, when the Mahopac Falls Dive Team was requested to South Lake Boulevard for reports of a vehicle submerged in the lake, the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department said. ID Released For Drowning Victim At Area Lake The identity of a man who drowned in a Hudson Valley lake while out boating with friends has been released by police. Brooklyn resident Sydney Joseph, 46, was recovered on Monday, June 29, in Oscawana Lake, located in the town of Putnam Valley, said Putnam County Sheriff Robert L.
