Retired Nypd Cop From Hudson Valley Pleads Guilty To Raping Two Women A retired NYPD lieutenant pleaded guilty to two counts of rape in connection with the sexual assault of two teenage girls, according to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler. Nicholas McAteer, 46, from Glenwood Lake pled guilty Wednesday in connection with the 2007 and 2011 rapes of two teenage girls.  At the time of his plea, McAteer admitted to the forcible rape of the two girls. McAteer raped the first girl in 2007 when the girl was 18-years old, the DA's Office said. The second girl was 15 when McAteer raped her in 2011.
