Man From Region Nabbed After Police Pursuit In Stolen Vehicle, Police Say A man from the region was nabbed for allegedly stealing a vehicle after fleeing from state police. The incident began in Putnam County on Wednesday, Jan. 31 in Brewster on westbound I-84 after New York State Police spotted a vehicle matching the description of a suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash. Two Charged In Death Of 15-Year-Old Who Fell From Side Of SUV Two area teens were arrested following the death of a 15-year-old who was hanging onto the outside of the vehicle they were driving before he fell to his death.
