Man Charged With Having Assault Rifle, Ammo In Hudson Valley A Hudson Valley man was charged with having an assault rifle without serial numbers during a traffic stop by state police. Orange County resident, Joshua Ayuk, age 30, of the city of Port Jervis, was arrested on Friday, May 19, during a traffic stop by New York State Police in the village of Saugerties. According to Trooper Steven Nevel, Ayuk was driving a Toyota Camry when he was stopped for a violation of state traffic laws. While speaking with troopers, Ayuk stated that he was the Sergeant at Arms for the Red Devils Motorcycle Club and gave permission for his vehicle to be searched.&nbs…

Man, Woman Busted With 1,258 Envelopes Of Heroin/Fentanyl, Assault Rifle, Police Say A man and a woman were allegedly busted with some 1,258 envelopes of heroin and an assault rifle during a search warrant by an area anti-violence task force. The arrests took place in Orange County around 5 a.m., Friday, June 5, when members of the City of Newburgh Police Department, FBI Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force, Town of New Windsor Police Department, and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, conducted a search warrant in the basement of 87 Carson Ave., in the City of Newburgh.
