The village board on Tuesday, Feb. 9, rejected a $1.5 million bond proposal that would have provided the volunteer department with a new truck as well as new gear required by the state, according to News 12.

Board Member Asher Grossman said he voted against the measure because Mayor Demeza Delhomme failed to provide trustees with a full list of the needed gear, according to News 12.

Delhomme, however, said that he provided the information at least 10 days earlier, according to News 12.
