RAMAPO, N.Y. -- A Ramapo officer used the life-saving drug naloxone to revive a woman who had overdosed on an opioid earlier this week, police said.
The unidentified victim was found unconscious in the village of Montebello, police said.
The woman started breathing on her own after the officer administered one dose of the medication.
Paramedics took the victim to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern.
