RAMAPO, N.Y. -- A driver was injured early Monday when he fell asleep and plowed his car into a stand of trees off Route 202 in Montebello, Ramapo police said.
The unidentified driver who crashed his car Monday in the Montebello fell asleep at the wheel, police said.

The unnamed driver told authorities he was traveling from Suffern to Haverstraw when he dropped off to sleep behind the wheel.
His airbag deployed, police said.
No further details were available Monday.
