RAMAPO, N.Y. -- The Rockland County Sheriff's Office has announced the Pet of the Week, Diamond, a 5-year-old Shar Pei Retriever mix.
She is a wonderful girl that had a rough beginning to her life.
She was brought to the shelter with siblings whom all found homes, yet Diamond has been overlooked. She knows her basic commands and responds well to treats. It takes her time to get to know her friends -- humans and dogs alike.
Once one gets to know her, she will reveal a wonderful personality and show she is a ton of fun. Diamond would do best in a home with adults because she would prefer a calm, quiet environment. Diamond is a beautiful girl who deserves a second chance.
