Suffern, Sloatsburg, and Tuxedo sit at the heart of hiking territory the Train Conference maintains. The conference and the towns work in harmony to promote hiking, adventure and tourism in the region.
"It's the perfect combination," said Don Weise, the Conference's development and membership director. "People spend a day in the woods. They take the train from Sloatburg to Suffern, where they come to have a drink, a meal and relax."
