Duo Nabbed For Passing Counterfeit Bills In Area
New York State Police troopers busted a man and woman who were passing around forged $100 bills to multiple businesses. A trooper in Dutchess County on patrol in Pleasant Valley was stopped by a businesswoman at approximately 3:20 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25 who reported fraudulent activity at her store and alleged that the suspects were still in the area. According to police, the trooper canvassed the area and located their first suspect, New York resident Xavier Jackson, 28, in a different retailer on Route 44 in Pleasant Valley.
