A driver attempting to flee from police in Westchester came to a screeching halt when he crashed into a building while evading officers, police said. County police on patrol spotted a vehicle that was wanted by the NYPD on the Taconic Parkway in Mount Kisco early on Wednesday, Dec. 8, prompting a chase that led them onto the Saw Mill River Parkway and into Yonkers. Man, Woman Killed In Two-Vehicle Westchester Crash
A man and woman were killed in a two-vehicle crash overnight in Westchester. It happened at around 11:50 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11 in Yonkers at the intersection of Yonkers Avenue at Walnut Street. Yonkers Police Department officers responded to the scene after a Westchester County Department of Public Safety report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Westchester Woman Killed After Losing Control Of Car Identified
A 24-year-old woman killed in a single-vehicle crash in Westchester has been identified. Eemajee Jones, of Yonkers, was killed following a crash Friday, April 26, after losing control of her vehicle and hitting a concrete barrier on Trinity Plaza, near the intersection of Walnut Street and Ashburton Avenue, police said. Violent Westchester Gang Member Admits To Attempted Assault, Conspiracy
A member of a prominent Westchester street gang has become the latest to admit to his role in using violence and weapons to control their neighborhood in Yonkers. Travis Pearson, 28, a member of the Blood Stones Army, pleaded guilty one count of attempted assault, a violent felony, and one count of second-degree conspiracy.
