Matthew Hickey, of Verplanck, was killed while driving riding a 2016 Kawasaki motorcycle east on Kings Ferry Road in Montrose, a hamlet of Cortlandt, around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27, during a crash with another vehicle, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks. According to Michael Preziosi, director of the town’s Department of Technical Services, the unidentified employee in Cortlandt was attacked at her private residence.
