Duo Nabbed For Stealing Cell Phones From Verizon Store In Northern Westchester, Police Say Two men drove the wrong way on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Northern Westchester before fleeing on foot in an attempt to evade police following an alleged cell phone theft, investigators said. Officers from the Bedford Police Department were dispatched to the Verizon Wireless location on Bedford Road in Bedford Hills at approximately 6:40 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 6, where there was a report of two men who were stealing cell phones from the store. Police Look To ID Woman In Poughkeepsie Galleria Mall ID Theft Case Police are on the lookout and enlisting the help of the public in the search for a female suspect who allegedly opened a Verizon Wireless account using an upstate woman’s personal information, stealing thousands of dollars. Police say the fraudulent account of the victim from Massena was opened at the Cellular Sales Store in the Poughkeepsie Galleria Mall on Tuesday, Jan. 29. The suspect also obtained an estimated $2,500 worth of Apple products.
