ID Released For Man Struck, Killed By Vehicle In Hudson Valley The identity of a man struck and killed by a vehicle on a busy Hudson Valley roadway has been released by police. Rockland County resident Steven Semoff, age 64, was struck and killed at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6 in the area of North Little Tor Road and Tor Terrace in New City, said Detective Norm Peters of the Clarkstown Police. The first arriving officers found Semoff laying on the southbound shoulder of North Little Tor Road, Peters said. Semoff, a resident of New City, was pronounced dead at the scene, he added. Woman Killed By Own Vehicle In Driveway Of Home In Area A woman was killed after she was run over by her own vehicle in a freak accident in the area. The incident took place around 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 12, when in Ulster County on Sterling Place in Highland. According to Town of Lloyd Police Chief James Janso, the 84-year-old Highland woman had pulled into the driveway of her residence and exited her car when it began to roll back in the driveway.  The woman attempted to stop the vehicle and was struck by the car.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.  The accident is still under investigation.  L…

59-Year-Old Struck, Killed By Vehicle In Westchester A 59-year-old man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Westchester. The incident took place around 9:50 p.m., Thursday, April 15, when the man was walking across Tarrytown Road in the vicinity of 407 Tarrytown Road, in Greenburgh, said Greenburgh Police Capt. Mike D’Alessio.  According to D'Alessio, police were called to the scene and found the victim lying injured in the roadway.
