Search On For Hit-Run Driver After Motorcyclist Killed In Horrific Crash A 51-year-old motorcyclist was killed after crashing with a vehicle, getting thrown into the air and landing on the hood of the car, with his head becoming lodged in the windshield as the driver fled the scene, police said. The hit-and-run crash occurred around 10:37 p.m. Monday on Whalley Avenue in New Haven, according to New Haven Police Officer David Hartman.
