Trio Nabbed For Hudson Valley Home Burglaries, Police Say Three men were apprehended by police in the Hudson Valley shortly after allegedly committing home burglaries. The incident occurred in Orange County around 7:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 2, on Continental Drive in New Windsor. Area Duo Nabbed With Drugs, Guns, During Warrants Search, Police Say Two Hudson Valley men have been arrested for allegedly dealing drugs through the region following a joint investigation. John Diamond, age 27, of Chester, in Orange County, and Dyland Cronk, age 31, of Beacon, were arrested on Tuesday, May 18, following the investigation by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force along with the Ulster Regional Narcotics Team, the DEA, and Homeland Security Hudson Valley, said Frank Tasciotti, assistant coordinator of the Task Force. The incident took place in Orange County around 3:45 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 7, in the parking lot of a Blooming Grove housing complex behind 40 Tanager Road, police said. George Bawn, 38, of Blooming Grove, was sentenced by Orange County Court Judge Craig Stephen Brown in connection with the shooting death of his brother, James Bawn, 35, on Feb. 6, at Mountain Lodge Park, in the Town of Blooming Grove, according to the Orange County State Attorney's Office. Hudson Valley Man Charged With Brother's Murder A 37-year-old man from Blooming Grove was charged with murder on Tuesday, Feb. 6, in connection with the shooting death of his brother, according to state police. State Police in Monroe arrested George Bawn for second-degree murder, a class A Felony, after a domestic dispute inside his residence.
