Man Rushed To Westchester Medical Center After Jumping From Overpass A man is in critical condition after jumping from an overpass bridge in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County around 11:15 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 16 at Route 59 and Dutch Lane in Spring Valley. According to the Spring Hill Community Ambulance Corps, who administered emergency medical care to the man, he was safely extricated from the ground using specialized equipment and transported to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla in critical condition. Person Hit By Train In Hudson Valley A person is in critical condition after being struck by a train in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County early Monday, July 10 at 1 Municipal Plaza in the village of Spring Valley. Spring Hill Community Ambulance Corps responded to the scene and found that the person was heavily pinned under the New Jersey Transi train, which required a prolonged extrication. A Spring Hill Captain requested a Medevac helicopter due to the prolonged extrication, but due to the severe storms, it was unable to fly, the department said.
