Freezing Rain, Ice: Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Putnam Freezing rain and ice is expected is expected north of I-84 overnight into Saturday morning, prompting a Winter Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service that includes Orange, Putnam and Dutchess counties. Northern Westchester and Rockland will see rain with freezing rain possible before 11 a.m., then a slight chance of freezing rain and sleet between 11am and noon. The advisory is in effect from 4 a.m. until noon Saturday for Orange and Putnam and from 3 a.m. until 7 p.m. for Dutchess.
