Armed Man From Region Held Woman Against Her Will, Police Say A man from the region was charged with unlawful imprisonment and criminal possession of a weapon after allegedly holding a woman against her will. The incident occurred in Sullivan County in the village of Monticello on Tuesday, Oct. 3. Members of the Monticello Police arrested Arthur J. 16-Year-Old Nabbed In Shooting Of Woman From Region, Police Say A 16-year-old has been charged with criminal use of a weapon in connection with the shooting of a woman from the region. The teen was arrested in Sullivan County in the village of Liberty on Wednesday, Sept. 6. According to Lt. Mark Johnstone of the Monticello Police, the juvenile was wanted for the Saturday, July 15, shooting of a 27-year-old Monticello woman that occurred at the Sleepy Hollow apartment complex at Terry Lane in the village of Monticello. Police Investigating After Man Shot Twice In Region Police in the Hudson Valley are investigating after a man was found shot twice inside an apartment. The incident took place in Sullivan County in the village of Monticello around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 2 at the Sleepy Hollow Apartment Complex. According to Lt, Mark Johnstone, of the Monticello Police, officers responded to a 911 call reporting a gunshot victim in Building 14 at the complex located on Terry Lane. Area Man Charged With Using Knife During Domestic Incident, Police Say A man from the region was arrested for allegedly threatening a woman with a knife during a domestic violence incident. The incident took place in Sullivan County around 6:50 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 29 in Monticello. Anthony Ronald Torre, age 30, of Monticello was arrested by Monticello Police after police responded to the Sleepy Hollow apartment complex for a dispute that involved a Kabar-style knife, said Lt.
