4 Injured In Hudson Valley 2-Vehicle Crash Four people were injured during a serious two-vehicle crash in the region. The collision took place in Dutchess County on Route 9G at the intersection of North Cross Road in the town of Hyde Park around 10 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 18.  According to the Roosevelt Fire District Chief Jeffrey Scala, firefighters and EMS responded to the crash with reports of ejections and people trapped in vehicles. The crash occurred at approximately 6 p.m., in the area of Vlei Road in the town of Rhinebeck. Initial investigation suggests Robert J. Rolando Lopez, 21 of Rhinebeck, was arrested around 9 p.m. after crashing his pickup truck into a telephone pole at the entrance to Bard College on Route 9G, police said. When police arrived they found Lopez had hit the pole and crashed more than 100 feet down an embankment, police added.
