Fire Damages Putnam Home Under Construction A fire caused heavy damage at a home under construction in the area. Putnam Lake firefighters, along with the Patterson Fire Department, responded to the fire in Putnam Lake at 4 Kingston Road around 1:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 24, for a report of a structure fire, the department said. Arriving firefighters quickly confirmed a working fire at the unoccupied home that was under construction and requested a second alarm, the department said.
