The rescue took place a little after 9 a.m., Tuesday, April 30, when the department was notified of an overturned boat with two people in the water near the Croton River's Silver Lake Park, said the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department. Police Searching For 'Person Of Interest' In Theft Of City Of Poughkeepsie Truck Police are asking the public for help locating a "person of interest" in the theft of a City of Poughkeepsie truck.  The truck, a white 2005 Chevrolet, was stolen around 2:44 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, from the loading dock of City Hall, said City of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Richard Wilson. The truck, which has the seal of the City of Poughkeepsie and the number 58, belongs to the Public Works department. Its registration number is AD8973. Surveillance video of the City Hall complex has led police to identify Robert Warran, 55, as a person of interest, he said. …
