One Killed, Another Injured After Altercation Breaks Out At Correctional Facility In Area One person was killed and another injured after a fight broke out at a correctional facility in the Hudson Valley. The incident between incarcerated individuals in Dutchess County happened on Tuesday, June 28 at the Green Haven Facility in Stormville, New York State Police said. The identity of the person killed is being withheld pending family notifications. This investigation remains ongoing and new information will be released as it becomes available, state police said. Officer Injured After Attack At Correctional Facility In Area An officer at an area correctional facility was injured after being attacked by an inmate. The incident happened in Dutchess County at Green Haven Correctional Facility in Stormville took place on Monday, Oct. 28, resulting in several non-life threatening injuries, said DOCCS spokesperson Thomas Mailey. The officer was transported by a state vehicle to a local hospital for treatment, Mailey said.
