Second Westchester Man Charged With Stealing $10K Worth Of Designer Handbags In Greenwich Police have arrested a second Westchester man in connection with the theft of more than $10,000 worth of handbags from a Greenwich Avenue store. Gerald Smith, 48, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 20, for the Jan. 15 theft, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz. On April 4, Greenwich Police arrested Joshua Spillman, 40, also of Mount Vernon, and charged him with organized retail theft greater than $10,000, conspiracy to commit larceny and larceny. Paramus Golf Course Emergency Landing: Pilot Was Just On PBS Documentary UPDATE: In a random coincidence, a teacher featured in a PBS special about aviation this past week was involved in an emergency landing at the Paramus Golf Course early Sunday afternoon. Three minor injuries were reported after the 1984 fixed-wing, single-engine Mooney M20K made an emergency landing around 12:30 p.m. on the fairway of the 9th hole off Paramus Road.
