One Killed In Three-Vehicle Crash On Putnam County Roadway An investigation is underway after a fatal crash involving three vehicles on a busy roadway in the area. It happened around 4:05 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18 in Carmel. 21-Year-Old Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash A 21-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Westchester. It happened on Tuesday, May 19 at 6 p.m. in Greenburgh. That's when Greenburgh Police Department and EMS units responded to the area of 106 Dobbs Ferry Road (Route 100B) for a report of a motor-vehicle accident with injuries involving a car and a motorcycle.  The motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to Westchester Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, Greenburgh Police said. Motorcyclist Airlifted To Hospital After Two-Vehicle Crash In Area, Police Say A motorcyclist was airlifted to an area hospital following a two-vehicle crash in the area. The crash took place in Orange County on Monday, Feb. 3 in the City of Newburgh at Broadway and Mill Street. Upon arrival, Newburgh officers found the motorcycle and its driver in the roadway,  said City of Newburgh Police Det. Lt. Joseph Burns. The victim was transported to  St. Luke’s Hospital before being flown to Westchester Medical, Burns said. The driver of the motor vehicle did not seek medical attention at the scene. The crash is under investigation.

10-Vehicle Crash With Numerous Injuries Shuts Down Route 9 Stretch A 10-vehicle crash on Route 9 caused numerous injuries, including from victims trapped in a burning car, and closed the highway in Northern Westchester for at least an hour. The crash took place around 10:46 a.m., Wednesday, May 8, near Main Street in Peekskill, said Peekskill Police Det. Sgt. Jack Galusha.
