Dollar Tree To Shut Down 390 Family Dollar Stores Dollar Tree is closing at least 390 Family Dollar stores and will rebrand 200 others, the company announced in releasing its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings this week. Dollar Tree CEO Gary Philbin announced the plans on Wednesday, which will include renovating some locations to sell alcohol and $1 Dollar Tree merchandise sections. Poughkeepsie Man Rips Off Wallet From K-Mart Shopper A Poughkeepsie man is behind bars for stealing a wallet from a shopper at K-Mart in the Town of Poughkeepsie. Arnold J. Falgiano Jr., 32, was arrested Wednesday following an investigation into the theft at the store at 635 Dutchess Turnpike, said Capt. Kevin Faber. According to Faber, Falgiano was identified through store video surveillance after taking the wallet from a store counter. Falgiano was charged with felony grand larceny and is being held at the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
