A 28-year-old man is facing life in prison for allegedly killing a homeless woman whose body was found outside the former historic Armory building on Main Street in New Rochelle. Jose Olmos, who is homeless, was arraigned this week on murder charges for allegedly beating Nurten Jeljuk on Friday, July 27. A 28-year-old man is facing a murder charge after a dead body was found in the former historic Armory building on Main Street in New Rochelle. Jose Olmos was arraigned on Monday for murder after the body was found in the driveway of the building on Friday morning. A suspect is in custody following the murder of a 66-year-old woman who was found dead early Friday in the driveway of the former Armory building on Main Street in New Rochelle. Members of the New Rochelle Police Department arrested the suspect at 4:47 a.m. Saturday, and charged him with murder.
