Man Rips Off 79-Year-Old Woman's Purse In Area Parking Lot, Police Say A 41-year-old man was apprehended after a brief foot chase for stealing the purse of a 79-year-old woman in a parking lot, according to Town of Poughkeepsie Police. The incident took place Monday when Town of Poughkeepsie police received a call that a woman was forcibly robbed of her pocketbook while entering her vehicle in a parking lot in the area of Main Street, said Capt.
