Traffic Update: All Lanes Open On I-87 After Hudson Valley Overpass Hit, Driver Charged One day after a tractor-trailer carrying an oversized load hit a Hudson Valley overpass on I-87, causing a massive backup, all lanes have reopened and traffic is running smoothly. The incident took place in Rockland County around 6:45 a.m. at the South Broadway overpass at the exit of South Nyack, said the New York State Police. The driver of the tractor-trailer, Ivan N. Trio Nabbed With Drugs During Traffic Stop In Region, Police Say A man and two others were busted on drug charges during a traffic stop in the region on I-87. The incident took place in Ulster County around 6 p.m., on Wednesday, April 12 on I-87 In Plattekill. Troopers from the Troop F Community Stabilization Unit were patrolling I-87 in the town of Plattekill when they spotted a 2010 BMW-528i traveling north in violation of numerous traffic laws, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Two Charged After Fleeing Area Dealership In Stolen Car, Cops Say Two men have been charged after allegedly fleeing a Westchester County car dealership in a stolen car. The incident began in Northern Westchester in Mount Kisco around 12:40 a.m., Monday, April 25 at the Lexus dealership. The men were nabbed when Westchester County Police Officer Dave Sanchez spotted a suspicious vehicle at the dealership located on Kisco Avenue. He attempted a traffic stop as the vehicle left the dealership but the driver refused to stop. Near West Main Street and Maple Avenue, the driver lost control and struck a guide rail.
