Lane Closures To Affect Stretch Of Taconic State Parkway In Yorktown Motorists who regularly travel on the Taconic State Parkway in Northern Westchester are being warned of upcoming lane closures that will slow down traffic.  Two lanes of the southbound Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown between Exit 17B (Bear Mountain Parkway) and Exit 14 (Baldwin Road) are scheduled to close on Thursday, Aug. 31, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.  The closures will last between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and will facilitate guide rail repairs, officials said.

Ramp Closure: Route 9A, Taconic State Parkway To Be Affected In Northern Westchester A ramp in Northern Westchester will soon be impacted by a planned closure.  The ramp between Route 9A/100 to the southbound Taconic State Parkway in Mount Pleasant is planned to close on Saturday, Aug. 12, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.  The closure will last between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. and is planned to allow for guide rail repairs.  Commuters should use the posted detours as an alternate route, officials said.

Closure Scheduled For Ramp On Parkway In Hudson Valley State officials issued an alert about a planned ramp closure on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in the Hudson Valley. Motorists in Rockland County should expect the northbound Palisades Interstate Parkway ramp to Exit 5N (State Route 303) in Orangetown to close on Thursday, Oct. 6 between 8 p.m. and midnight, the New York State Department of Transportation said. The closure is needed to facilitate guide rail repairs, officials said. State officials said motorists should follow the posted detour as an alternate.
