Woman Accused Of Sending Explicit Texts On Ways To Kill Her Mom In Fairfield County A 20-year-old Fairfield County woman is behind bars after allegedly texting explicit messages describing the different ways she wanted to kill her mother. Catherine Harper, of Greenwich, was arrested on a warrant on Friday, Jan. 5 for the text she sent on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023. According to Lt. Patrick Smyth of the Greenwich Police, Harper was charged with threatening and held on a $50,000 bond which she could not make.  Police did not provide additional information regarding who she sent the text to.  This is a developing story. Darren Simpson, 53, of Poughkeepsie, was extradited from the Westchester County Jail on Tuesday, Feb. 26, in connection with the Oct. 18, 2016 robbery on North Water Street, Greenwich police said. He was charged with burglary and criminal mischief.   Simpson is being held on $150,000 bond.

The Greenwich teen, who was not identified due to his age, was arrested on a warrant in connection with the theft of the vehicle from a home on River Road in Cos Cob, Greenwich Police said.
