Orange County resident Jeffrey Griffin, of Pine Bush, died Friday, Aug. 19, from injuries sustained in a wreck that occurred in the Town of Crawford, police said. Courtney O’Connell, Former HS Cheerleader In Hudson Valley, Dies At 20 Courtney Elizabeth O’Connell, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on Sunday, Jan. 28. She was 20 years old. She was a student at New Rochelle High School where she was an exceptional member of the cheerleading team. She also loved basketball and could often be seen wearing her “12″ jersey with a ball in her hand. Later, she attended Westchester Community College and was seeking a career in nursing.
