The fire, that started around 7:56 a.m. Tuesday at 123 Winnikee Ave., in Poughkeepsie, began on the second floor of the building and by the time the fire was out, the entire building had been devasted. Poughkeepsie House Fire Displaces Family Of Four A two-alarm fire in the City of Poughkeepsie displaced three children and one adult, according to the City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department. Firefighters received notice of the fire around 11:38 a.m. Wednesday at 22 Bement Ave., said City of Poughkeepsie Fire Chief Mark Johnson.
