The crash took place in Orange County around 9:40 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 7 on Route 300 in the town of Newburgh. According to Lt. Peter Talarico of the town of Newburgh Police, an investigation shows a 2019 Ford box truck was northbound on Route 300, approaching a curve in the roadway when it appears to have crossed onto the southbound lane and struck a 2019 Dodge Ram. The company announced that it is recalling 693,000 pickups to fix the tailgates. It comes on the heels of other recalls for tailgates that opened while the trucks are operating, totaling more than 1.1 million vehicles in all. It happened around 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, Danbury Police said. The motorcyclist, Bretburton Clark, 25, of Brookfield, was operating a Harley Davidson southbound on Federal Road in Danbury when it struck the 2012 Dodge Ram driven by 51-year-old Pedro Borgesserrafim, said police.  Clark was rushed to Danbury Hospital.
