A man who led police on a high-speed chase on several busy parkways in Westchester was caught after his vehicle suffered a flat tire, authorities said. The incident happened on Tuesday, April 18 around 9 a.m., when a Westchester County Police officer saw a black Mercedes driving at a high speed on the northbound Bronx River Parkway near the Cross County Parkway interchange. Police have identified the woman killed in a single-vehicle crash in Westchester County over the weekend. Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Westchester Crash
A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident on the westbound Cross County Parkway at New Rochelle Road that has closed the roadway in Bronxville. The crash occurred 1:30 p.m. Monday when the motorcyclist appears to have lost control and crashed, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police.
