29 Arrested During Protest At Energy Facility In Area
A total of 29 people were arrested during a protest at the Crickett Valley Energy facility in Dover. The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police said the 29 were charged during the early morning hours on Saturday, Nov. 15, said Dutchess County Sheriff's Office Capt. John Watterson. A large group of the protestors gained access to the facility ground, with most of the group blocking the entrance while a smaller group climbed up onto smokestacks on the property, Watterson said.
