Three massage parlors were busted for offering prostitution services to undercover officers during an investigation in Westchester, police said. The parlors were busted in Larchmont and Mamaroneck on Wednesday, August 10. The investigation was undertaken after both departments received a tip from a local resident, said Larchmont Poice Chief Chris McNerney. Claudio Delli Carpini a former star athlete in Westchester died on Saturday, Feb. 19 at the age of 30. Born in the Bronx to Joseph and Josephine Delli Carpini, a Harrison High School graduate was a man of many talents, according to his obituary. "He was highly intelligent, had a great sense of humor, loved to sing, and was an amazing card player," his obituary said. A 22-year-old woman in Westchester has been indicted on multiple felony charges for allegedly drinking, driving recklessly, crashing, and killing two passengers, the District Attorney announced. Pelham resident Bethzy Higueros was indicted by a Westchester County Grand Jury on a 12-count indictment for killing two from New Rochelle in a fiery crash earlier this year. One Dead, Two Critically Injured After Car Slams Into Utility Pole In Westchester
One person was killed and two others critically injured after a vehicle hit a utility pole in Westchester and the vehicle burst into flames. The incident took place around 2:37 a.m., Sunday, April 11, in front of 1395 West Boston Post Road in the town of Mamaroneck. The vehicle, a 2003 Honda Accord, struck a utility pole and a fire engulfed the vehicle, said Lt. James Maher of the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department. A student headed to school in Westchester reported to officials that he observed a man in a car masturbating near the building, the district announced. The Mamaroneck School District issued a notice to the community that a student walking to Hommocks Middle School at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24 advising that a student saw a man in a white car masturbating near the intersection of Boston Post Road and Hommocks Road. Suspect Arrested In Hit-Run That injured Motorcyclist In Hudson Valley
A 61-year-old Fairfield County man has been identified as the suspect who fled the scene of a hit-and-run that left a motorcyclist hospitalized in Mamaroneck on Sunday. Police confirmed that Bridgeport resident Hugo Echeverri was arrested this week after he allegedly struck a motorcyclist shortly before 10 p.m. on Boston Post Road and proceeded to flee the scene.
