New Barnes & Noble Coming To Northern Westchester: Here's Where
Iconic bookstore chain Barnes & Noble will soon open a new location in Northern Westchester. The mega-bookseller has signed a lease to open a new store in the former Walgreens space at 55 South Moger Ave. in Mount Kisco, according to Beth Vetare Civitello, Co-Executive Director of the Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce. The 13,700-square-foot store will take the space as of Friday, Aug. 2, Vetare Civitello added. Danbury Location Among New Barnes & Noble Stores Planned For 2023
Book lovers in the region will have a new option for their next binge as bookseller giant Barnes & Noble continues to expand at an "unprecedented" rate. Barnes & Noble announced that it would open 30 new stores in 2023 on top of the 16 stores it opened in 2022, a sharp contrast to the store's pandemic-era closings and furloughs reported by Publisher's Weekly. Barnes & Noble Returning To Westchester Town After 11-Year Absence
Good news book lovers. Barnes & Noble is returning to a busy Westchester town after leaving in 2012. According to Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner, residents were disappointed and missed the beloved bookstore on Central Avene in Hartsdale, a hamlet of Greenburgh. Feiner said the company has signed a lease at the Dalewood Shopping Center in the 12,490-square-foot space, formerly occupied by Mrs. Green's Market.
